They'll never learn!!!

The Democratic party had better learn how to talk to everyday people if they want to stay afloat. All of the special elections held since the republicans took over have been won by the Republicans. Georgia is just the latest. I heard some sound bites from Osoff and he falls into the same category as Clinton fell into. Talking down to people. Driving into work this morning, I was listening to KYW (2, 3, 4 times a day) when they played a statement made by Democratic Mayor Kenny of Philadelphia talking to a group of refugees. He said, "There are more of us who support you, respect you and wish you well then those ignorant people who do not." Now I have my reasons for not wanting a flood of refugees coming to the USA and I don't consider myself ignorant for having those reasons. The one thing I have failed to hear from either party when making a point is "Geez I never thought of it from that point of view. Let me think about it and get back to you." That would be refreshing, don't you think??

Varsity Lineman Chute - 50"L x 50"W

Great for drive blocking and other basic drills, the Football Lineman Chute trains linemen to maintain a low center of gravity with every snap of the ball. Elevating the hips for a strong forward push, the chute encourages linemen to break out of their stances properly. Defensive players are forced to keep their heads down by the chute's helmet guards, so when the time does come to explode across the line of scrimmage, they can keep their balance while staying low to the ground.

Heavy-duty steel construction provides teams with reliable practice equipment
Used to position linemen into the proper form for drive blocks
Framework encourages athletes to stay low, elevate their hips and find their balance as they move forward
Equipped for additional chutes for a multi-player lineup

July 4th 1776

Here's what the date is all about....

The Declaration of Independence
We celebrate American Independence Day on the Fourth of July every year, thinking of that as the day that represents the Declaration of Independence and the birth of the United States of America as an independent nation.
But, July 4, 1776 wasn't the day that the Continental Congress decided to declare independence. They did that on July 2, 1776 with the revolution itself starting back in April of 1775.
Thomas Jefferson wrote the first draft in June of ‘76. It was delivered to Great Britain, November of 1776. And last but not least, it was signed on August 2nd, 1776.

So what did happen on July 4, 1776? That's when Congress approved the final wording of the Declaration of Independence, something they’d been working on for a couple of days after the draft was submitted on July 2nd and finally agreed on. It was also the date that was included on the document and the fancy handwritten copy that was signed in August. This is the copy now displayed at the National Archives in Washington, D.C. But what may have cemented the 4th as "the" date is because both Thomas Jefferson and John Adams died on the date in 1826.

Reactions: Aragorn

Monday's stock market dynamics could have been a short-term top.

Market had an impressive day Monday, and there was a lot of money made. Gut feeling is that now some profits will be taken. From here to the end of June or early July, it's time for a pullback. Still will stay about 40% invested, but time for caution, but, if wrong, can get more fully invested later on in some of the quality names, especially if they are not much higher.

Illinois is getting closer to bankruptcy under a Republican governor. It's his fault....

right?

No, he took over a mess created by decades of liberalism in the former Land of Lincoln. Both state houses are controlled by democrats, and Chicago, long a liberal haven, is a huge drain on the state's finances. The Chicago public school system is a complete disaster and the mayor (Emanuel) is no more than a mid-level management type, and that's a stretch. Last, but not least, Incapabama came from there. What a legacy he's going to have. Obamacare and Illinois bankruptcy. Trump should say no to a bailout request.

Now, watch for the media to try to blame this on Governor Rauner, as they tried to blame the Baltimore riots on Governor Hogan two years ago or when they tried to blame "rich people" for not paying their taxes when Greece had its financial crisis. It's always liberalism that is at the core of these issues.

I bet that not one liberal can effectively counter this argument. They know what the truth is.
