What have you been doing as of late with your workouts?

Our weightlifting program is to oriented to build strength, while working out with my mentor is more football related exercises with additional conditioning.”

What do you feel you have improved on the most since football ended?
“I feel that I have improved most with my knowledge of the game. That’s one thing a player should improve with each season with experience. I’ve always played fullback and running back, so I was one-dimensional in a sense. This year, I am playing defensive lineman and running back so I’ve gained knowledge of the positions and have since been practicing things, watching videos, and training in able to play to my full potential at that position as well as running back.”

What are your areas of focus going forward?
“An area of focus moving forward would always be academics first. I’ve found myself in between a rock and a hard place amid my freshman and sophomore school years. I had run into some adversity academically and with things non-school or football related. I took some time to focus back up and see things for what they were really worth. That early decline woke me up to realize that I have an opportunity here that is beyond me, so I decided to do a 360 with my life. With that, academics would be a major area of focus.”

How do you believe your team will be next season?
“Even with the loss of eleven phenomenal senior football players, we’ve still got some guys here who love the game of football and can’t wait to get back on the field. I strongly believe that we could have the same success as last season, if not more.”

“Yes, I want to play sports in college and I especially want to play football.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?

However, schools such as Michigan State, the University of Pittsburgh, West Virginia University, Army, Richmond, UMass, Wofford College, Youngstown State, and the University of New Hampshire have shown interest in me. All of the schools are recruiting, showing interest, and offering me are for a defensive lineman position at defensive end or defensive tackle.”

What school is recruiting you the hardest?
