What have you been doing as of late with your workouts?
“Everything. From 6AM lifts, to field work and minicamp along with basketball open gyms and working on my craft at home, I’ve been really busy this year with multiple workouts a day.”
What do you feel you have improved on the most since football ended?
“Definitely my strength and speed. I increased my bench by 70-pounds this off-season and my squat by 45-pounds. I definitely matured this off-season and have gotten better all around.”
What are your areas of focus going forward?
“My focuses are improving every day and preparing for a special season. Every day is another opportunity.”
How do you believe your team will be next season?
“I believe we will shock a lot of people around the WPIAL. We have a lot of good young players, along with many leaders who have led the team in off-season workouts. Good off-season and preparation usually leads to a good season.”
What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2018?
“Penn Hills. They’re loaded, enough said. They have great players in every skilled position along with a good coaching staff.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I love football and basketball. Basketball was always my first love, but as I got older I realized the game of football would give me a greater chance of the ultimate goal. I’m all in for football.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“Robert Morris, Penn U, Boston College, Monmouth, Pitt and more. Those are the coaches who have contacted me.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“Robert Morris and Pitt came to my school, but I would have to say Robert Morris. I’ve talked to Coach Tyler numerous times.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I haven’t as of now. I plan on it when the season is over.”
What camps are you going to this summer?
“RMU on the 6th, Pitt on the 9th. Temple on the 16th, and West Virginia on the 22nd. I’m going to see if I can plug Penn State in July.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Me and my mom are obsessed with Pitt. I love Pittsburgh. That would be my dream school.”
