How did the football season go for your team?
“Although our team didn’t advance as far as we hoped to in the 6A playoffs, I feel like we had a solid year. We lost a few close games that if we would’ve made a couple more plays, we could’ve won. Overall, we established a good foundation for this upcoming season.”
What are your workout plans now going forward?
“I do off-season speed training with Tim Cortazo at FSQ and Darnell Dinkins at ETHIC training, along with quarterback training with Anthony Morelli from X-factor QB Academy. I also go to our team’s winter workouts.”
What are you trying to improve on the most this off-season?
“I am working really hard on my speed and agility. Also, I am working on my takeaway in my throwing motion to get the ball out quicker.”
How do you believe your team will be next season?
“I think our team can be very competitive this upcoming season. We return key starters at running back, wide receiver, and have some upcoming guys at offensive line and tight end.”
What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2018?
“I am excited to play some teams that we don’t usually have on our schedule such as North Allegheny and Pine Richland. I believe that our team can compete with anyone and I am looking forward to these opportunities.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“My number one goal since I have been a little kid is to play football at the highest level that I can. From watching both of my brothers go through the process, I know it will take a lot of work. but I believe I can achieve my goal.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“Penn State, Pitt, West Virginia, and Cincinnati have all been in school and have invited me to their junior days in a couple of weeks. I am excited about all of these opportunities.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“Penn State and Pitt have shown the most interest.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“Yes, I visited Penn State multiple times over the summer for football camps. I was invited to the Penn State vs. Nebraska game, and that was a great experience. I really liked atmosphere in Beaver Stadium. Also, I was invited to the West Virginia vs Texas Tech game. I had the chance to talk to Coach Spavital, which was great to talk to him again. Last summer, my brother and I made the trip to the Bronx, NY for Fordham’s camp. Coach Breiner was great to work with and I’m sure he will do great things at Mississippi State.”
What camps are you going to this summer?
“At this point, I am not sure. I will make those decisions after my junior days. I will more than likely be back at Penn State and West Virginia.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Penn State has always been a favorite of mine and my families.”
