Ok, with all the same complaining about pub vs private this time of year and transfers etc. Not too many solutions offered other than separating pubs and private schools. How bout this? Go back to 4 classifications by enrollment. Then after week 12 or so have a committee rank the top 8 teams in state any class and have a 3 round playoff. The rest of the teams would reseed and still play out a 1A-4A state playoffs and crown state champs for each classification with an additional "PA HS Playoff Champ." This would take the top privates out of the state playoffs and the pubs with the most talented transfers each year whoever that was that year .


Huck would chair committee.

Would be a blast watching the debates and heads exploding over strength of schedule, 2 loss teams, etc. And what playoff that would be this year.

I don't know anything about Manheim Township except what I see on MaxPreps. The score that jumps out to me is the 56-0 win in the regular season over Hempfield, who was a high seed in D3. Any thought about how their overall schedule stacks up?

Gateway vs Manheim Central Where have we seen this team before. Coach Williams is back in true form. Sorry, I don't know anything about Gateway. I don't mean to diss them.

Unionville vs Arch Wood Congrats to Unionville on their district title. I'm not sure if this is their first or they have won in the past. They're going up against one of the best teams in the state any class.

I think MDW is done with his bucket list, the problem now is North Penn has been eliminated earlier than expected. As a CR guy, I envy his situation not making it to the D1 final.

I will be watching Coatesville-Garnet Valley on the video stream Friday night.

Saturday I'm off to Frank Banko Field at BASD Stadium, the best high school facility in eastern PA for St Joe Prep and Parkland.
