I think prep vs LS will be closer. I didn’t see anything to make me feel like it would be a tight game though. Up front on both side prep still dominates. Without Lee burg didn’t stand a chance.
As I said before, on paper this looks like the year LS can seriously challenge SJP. It’ll depend if LS OL and defense can come along. They certainly have the skill to do it.
I think those who had Coatesville as heavy favorites didn't look at the history of those two teams playing over the last decade or so... Coatesville has had a hard time slowing them down. (As do many teams to be fair)
North Penn had a very nice opening win, it's always hard to put week 1 in any context until you see if Dtown East is down this year, but a good win nonetheless against a very good program.

I must say I’m quite surprised to see Easton outgain West.
Bucks - are the LB injuries long term? As you know, west has been plagued by injuries the past few years. I swear there is something with everyone playing on turf now (I think the grass was easier on the legs/knees/feet), but maybe I’m just an old man LOL.
Not totally surprised at Easton having more yardage than West, although the article Rover just posted had it closer at 297-291. Easton has a lot of very good athletes, two excellent backs and a solid quarterback. (And West was breaking in an entirely new secondary / LBs) I'll write more of my impressions a little later.
It sounds like one LB is week to week, one is a month or so out and the third is done for the year. With the number of ACLs that this team has had (and another one last night for the left tackle? I haven't heard anything yet on his injury but it looked serious) I have to agree that the time on turf is at least partly to blame. West has a beautiful practice field, but it's also turf so they never get a break from it.

Easton ran for 191 yards, threw for 175. Had the ball in CB West territory on six of seven drives, only produced two touchdowns. That’s the game right there.
Easton making the adjustment by putting a tight end on the field pays dividends, touchdown out of half, sprung by big Kurtis Crossman blocks. DiSora drops the pass on the two pointer. 14-12 Bucks
Liberty is interesting - Antonio Fontanez, who threw for 2200 yards at ACC last year as a sophomore, transferred to St France’s in Baltimore in the spring, then last week came back to the Valley and enrolled at Liberty. He was at Liberty as a freshman.
They also mostly relied on two sophomore last year, Jake Pucszyn, who is a D1 basketball recruit at receiver, and Gabe Green ran for 1,300 yards as a 10th grader. Pretty good skills guys with an actual quarterback now makes them intriguing.
