How did the high school football season go overall?
“The season went about as well as you could do. We were undefeated state champs and sent our seniors off the right way.”
What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“Lifting 5 or 6 days a week. I am usually getting in position work in during the week as well.”
What are you trying to improve on the most as a player?
“My biggest points of emphasis are definitely my overall strength and footwork.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I think we’re going to be something special and I’ll take my brothers over everybody. I step on the field with them believing we will win every time purely because nobody goes through what we do together.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule next season?
“As my offensive line coach says, it’s a faceless opponent. Every week we prepare as we would any other week and we grind regardless of who we line up against.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I currently hold 12 offers from Monmouth, Toledo, Villanova, Bryant, UMass, Fordham, Richmond, Albany, Bowling Green, Austin Peay, Lehigh, and Robert Morris.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“I get mail every day from certain coaches, so that’s really a hard thing to judge. I feel all the schools that have offered me have been pursuing me pretty hard.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“Yes, I have been visiting schools frequently over the past couple months. Recently it has been UMass, Albany, Pitt, Bowling Green and Toledo to name a few.”
Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“I have a few and I’ll be making my way to camps as well.
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“I was more of a guy who liked players when I was younger for college ball. I loved watching Lane Johnson at Oklahoma, Tyron Smith, and Eric Fisher. I always watch the tackles when I watch football.”
