Talk about conference with teams from multiple classifications, etc. Like the rest of the state. Also, was interesting to see the speculation that there may not be enough 6A teams in the WPIAL to have a conference. Are schools in the east growing from 5A to 6A?

There are 95 6A schools. Don't know if the 5A's are growing to 6A's. Most of the 6A schools are in the East.

D1: 33 schools (East)
D3: 18 schools (South Central)
D7: 9 schools (West-WPIAL)
D11: 12 schools (Lehigh Valley)
D12: 12 schools (East-Philly)

There are 101 5A schools. Again, most of the 5A schools are in the East.

D1: 25 schools (East)
D3: 28 schools (South Central)
D7: 24 schools (West-WPIAL)
D11: 5 schools (Lehigh Valley)
D12: 9 schools (East-Philly)
