So what? His popularity is now equal to or higher than Obama at this time in his presidency. You guys just can't handle that the Left lost and Donny is doing things people evidently approve of, getting things done. Major change from the preceding lying, eloquent deceiver.attacking the FBI Amazon, wrong on DACA, the tariffs are going to backfire the stock market is "adjusting" . Mueller closing in , Repuplicans losing ground, Stormy Daniels has him by the balls again. Man all this winning is too much
Sammy, you read the papers too and watch CNN....and Fox for balance right? It's well documented what this administration has done. What is he getting done ? I never thought you were a full on Trumptard but hey can't wait for Mueller to get his a$$ out of there
Some kind of theft Reluctant, 306 to 232 votes. You guys just can't handle the fact that you lost. Get over it and the Fox diatribe........and open your eyes. Watch something besides Fox if it offends you so much. There are a zillion options out there.Trump has a stolen SCOTUS seat and tax cuts that will saddle our grand children with more debt. Trump has made the US a laughing stock. The markets are crashing. Costs of goods is up. No wall. 3 of his confidants have now confessed to working with the Russians. And so on and so on. It's getting to the point where FoxNews can't even make shit up to give him credit for.
You're funny though. I can read you like a Trump book. You say he's as popular as Obama, so I go do a little digging and all I see is this headline over and over again...
TRUMP SAYS HIS APPROVAL IS HIGHER THAN OBAMA'S, IGNORING THE POLLS THAT SAY IT ISN'T
Trump has said many times that the electoral college system makes it harder for a Republican to be elected, but the only two times in the last century when the electoral college winner was a popular vote loser were in 2000 ad 2016--both Republican electoral college wins. Thus, another case of Trump's repeating of what is demonstrably untrue. Of course, there's some truth to the idea that if you repeat a lie often enough many people begin to think it's not a lie. Some kind of theft Reluctant, 306 to 232 votes. We're in basic agreement, though it's not the case that the market has lost all the gains since Trump's election or inauguration. I think where Trump was mistaken was pointing frequently to the stock market as a very reliable reflection of the health of the economy and of the soundness of his economic policies--or maybe we should call them instincts.Tulla the voice of reason once again.
Stalker, remember back in 2012 when Trump was calling for citizens to take to the streets and protest the electoral college? Trump's elector "landslide" is actually the second lowest tally in the last 40 years.
Trump is attacking Amazon, a US company, because he's mad at it's CEO. The markets have lost all gains since Trump has been in office. The GOP sits silent on the POTUS attacking free trade and open markets. Frightening.
Stalker the SCOTUS theft was that of a vacant seat which should have been confirmed under Obama. Scary times when a party can ignore the constitution for their own political gain. And you pretty much said the reason you voted for a draft dodger who degraded all POWs was for that seat. That ends justified the means in your mind.
I don't like everything Trump does or Obama did. What I do recognize is he represents a deep dissatisfaction with the process as it was. Enough of us felt that way for him to be elected, especially with the sad candidate the Democrats forwarded to seal the deal. I opted for change, radical change, knowing it comes with risks, risks I don't believe exceed Obama's 8 years of placating Iran and North Korea while running us into tremendous debt.Trump has said many times that the electoral college system makes it harder for a Republican to be elected, but the only two times in the last century when the electoral college winner was a popular vote loser were in 2000 ad 2016--both Republican electoral college wins. Remember how a little over a year ago many people (including some on this board) were praising Trump for the missile strike on Syria in part because he didn't signal it well in advance and because it showed how resolute he is. Well ...it seems to have had zero effect in the time since. Assad is consolidating his power and yesterday Trump signaled loud and clear that he intends to withdraw American troops sooner rather than later.
Trump and many of his supporters showed no hesitation in claiming the gains in the stock market were clear signs of his success. Of course, Trump takes zero responsibility for the declines. The simple fact is that changes in the market should never be claimed as clear indications of the strength or weakness of an administration's economic policies or promises.
Anyone really think it's a good idea for a president relentlessly to go after one of the country's most successful companies? He seems to think it's the only company that's a heavy user of the postal service. Of course we know the real reason he is targeting Amazon and not LL Bean or any of the tens of thousands of other businesses that rely on the postal service. No one think it's frightening for a president to zero in on a particular newspaper?
Today in the presence of the three presidents from Baltic countries he referred to his 2016 opponent as "crooked Hilary" and he referred to his predecessor as "Cheatin' Obama." (Just think of the egotistical blindness that would prompt Trump of all people to call label Obama in that way.) No president has shown such contempt for a previous president or for a defeated rival. In doing so Trump diminishes his office and himself.
