Was anyone @ the Haverford vs Dtown game? 49-42 is a high scoring affair how did Blair play? I was really hoping to see Haverford pull it off.

Also, out of curiosity... How do people feel about District 1 needing 5 wins to make a state final while d3 (i think its d3) only 4 and a bye for CD next week while 2 heavyweights in D1 bang it out for the state semis. That sucks!

I was at the DTW/Haverford game. Broke loose on a few plays but never scored on them. Haverford D got manhandle by DTW. Couldn’t get a stop when needed. Haverford fought hard till the end but couldn’t over come the deficit from the first half. DTW/Coatesville next week should be a lit atmosphere

West was better team. Seemed like they could score as many as they needed. Blair hampered by injury but played his tail off. The better team won.

Will say this Haverford battled their ass off till end. It’s amazing how kids when they are on a roll just believe they can win. 35-7 and 42-14 everyone thought time to lay down. Never happened. Credit to this group of kids and their coaches. Best of luck to West. They were best offensive team Haverford saw by head and shoulders. Howard really good.

Just finished watching watching a great year of Hs football as a parent. Coached it for years. Enjoyed every moment with great group of kids from freshmen year on. Wonderful group of kids. Proud as hell of them as a group. Staff did great job. Best year there maybe ever. Best of luck to West and Coatesville. Two best teams playing for title.
