Prep has a history of being quite imaginative and brutal with their student section chants. Some of the verbiage is down-right disgraceful. I thought it was just a "LaSalle thing" at first, but have witnessed at other high profile league/non-league games over the last 10 yrs.
I suppose we'll hear of twitters , tweets and instagrams that excited the misconduct, or perhaps an opposing assistant coach posted something a year ago that condoned malfeasance, thus exacted a sharp and penetrating reply.
I realize is not just a Prep thing, they just may do it best and got singled out in this circumstance. Some schools have moderators/school officials or some "adult" with command and respect who can shut this garbage down often times before the 1st sentence is completed. i.e. Mr Fyke, the "general", (he's been called other things!) an example.
I wasn't at the game, can't comment directly. Say what you want about Ace, his qualitative understanding of the area's high school football domain is often questioned, but he's not a guy with an ax to grind about anyone.
Speaking of "adults", where were they?? Were there any adult administrative members present at this game? I'm sure the sexually explicit chant forwarded to the female member of the opposing team could not have been met with satisfaction or approval. I'm not a PC pusher, but this would be well over the top, IMO.
One thing for sure, if Tulla, a most respected and dignified Prepster were the "adult-in-charge", this article most assuredly doesn't get written! IMHO...
