Is he winning because he has a solid coaching staff, principles and discipline well in place coupled with a continually strong recruiting attraction being an open boundary school? That's good enough for most student-athletes/parents now a days. pcc's notion of stubbornness with present scheme does at least open the question of adaptability and the ability to make half-time adjustments if dictated.
I'm not a Prep fan, but Gabe's 2nd half adjustments in my mind won that title along with the players having the "practiced" ability to execute it.

Stalker I think the difference between central and gateway and woody high is central is a program that has proven itself. Gateway and woody high have zero state championships where I believe pcc is 3-2 in state championship games.
I agree stalker. I have that NA pcc game circled on my calendar and I will definitely be attending that one. From what I'm hearing pine Richland has a sophomore qb thats more talented then Ben dinuchi. I think hes 6'5 and also their best basketball player. The future looks bright for them. Also nobody better sleep on penntraford either. They have everyone back from their 11-1 team last year that made it all the way to the wpial quarter finals.Yes absolutely House. Just meant to say-imply that D1 players don't always equate to good "teams." And amen, Central Catholic is special. I have them and North Allegheny above and apart from other Wpial teams with USC right there, so long as Coach Render at helm. McKeesport has had their moments but Catholic and NA. Wow!

Pcc64 I agree 100% with you. Im big on PT There are so many talented wpial aaaa teams that they are getting over shadowed. People better not overlook them. They can very well win it all.Saw Penn Trafford last year against against PCC and I was very impressed. They have a lot of returning play makers and let me tell you they make a lot of big plays. They are an exciting team to watch. I'm all in for Central Catholic but Penn Trafford could be this year's Pine Richland. If they lose it will be one game, late in the play offs.
