Neumann-Goretti survives a tough and game O'Hara

NG, down at the half, survived a tough and game O'Hara squad. O'Hara pulled out all the stops but they pulled them a little too early. With the aid of a couple of trick plays O'Hara was able to jump out to a 2 TD lead but when the tricks were played they just didn't have the horses too keep up with a more talented NG squad. NG will have to bring it's A game when the stakes get higher but they have not only the talent to overcome some obstacles but also the heart. The more I watch these kids the more I like. They know they can play better and they're disappointed when they don't but more importantly they know when they may not be playing up to their standards and they work to fix it. Credit to coaching and kids all around.
