As bad as the National was, the Continental sure passed the opening night test, sans William Tennent.

NP: huge win over Neshaminy

CB-South: Maybe the most impressive win at Spring-Ford

CB-East: Solid win on the road at Quakertown

Souderton: Great win for their program over 5A state semi-finalist Pottsgrove

CB-West: On the road spoils the debut of Mark Schmidt at H-H

Pennridge: Rams throw the shutout after a long road trip to Delaware Valley in D2 country

West looked good against HH. Dominated line of scrimmage on both offensive & defense. Had a couple of breakdowns on kick off team and on pass defense that should be easily corrected. Depth a concern for West, QB plays both ways. HH is a young team with only 9 seniors, and starts a couple of 9th graders including the QB. They will get better. Continental should be very competitive this year with a good first week.

I’m feeling good about Continental as well. Rams looking good, Knights look like power of D1 with a great back; they will need to tighten-up the D though. Souderton looks promising and some serious life out of the Bucks schools!

Coatesville looks very beatable. Maybe Downingtown a threat.

Will Pennsbury and Neshaminy hold-off Truman? Looking like no serious threats down there.
