George chaump passes away at 83

Fortunate to say I met him once, fast hello/handshake with a warm smile. He sure knew how to coach with sincere regard for his players evidenced by unending stories and success at city schools which often present special challenges. His diverse resume speaks to his accomplishments at so many levels on and off the field. He was a good guy.
