The question is who’s the favorite?

I’m suspecting GV and CBW might be real
Hard to prepare for as they run the only O that’s not a spread.

NP runs a traditional and some spread.

Odds are D1 goes back to Downingtown.

I’ve only seen maybe 1/2 the teams so I’m a bit lost.

would like to hear others insights.

CBW faces Ridley in the first round. Ridley runs a similar offense too and just played GV. So the element of surprise or unfamiliarity is gone. I’m not predicting an upset or anything because Ridleys D has been suspect against quality teams. But I do not think Ridley will be surprised by the scheme.

Ridley played a wing T team early on in Strath Haven and lost big.
If I'm not mistaken CBW is running the wing T very well this year.

DTW is the clear front runner for district one title.
I think every other game could be a toss up this year.
Balance? Fun games that could have many OT's for endings.

If you’re thinking that NP rarely loses twice to the same team, I’m on board.

here’s what I got:

DTW - blow out, similar to Neshaminy game.
CBW- blow out, agree with Haven analysis.
GV- blow out, bad matchup.
AB- tight one, Abington finally breaks through.
SF- looks stronger.
DTE- might be tighter than it should be.
CV- blow out, they had their wake up call.
NP- I think they will be ready this time.

I should clarify that I know both of these teams well...
PW only played 2 teams with a winning record and basically played a 5A schedule.
Abingtons only losses were to the #1 team in the city league and to CB west. Most of the teams Abington played would beat PW.

pw scores 50+ 40+ pts a game and lets up 1 score and lost to a very very good cheltenham team by 4... who abington beat early on 19-7. i think its gonna be a tougher game than most of you think!
