Baseball, District One

....and 5 of the 8 in the quarters were from D1. Problem is 2 of those games featured all D1 matchups. CB-South is quite a story. Was the 17th seed and has played every game on the road. Made the D1 championship and now the state semis.

This is where I play Debbie downer and complain about the state playoff format in baseball. Nothing about the game is designed for a single elimination format. It’s essentially creates a random champion generator. Back in the day when all the best kids played legion in the summer, it was interesting to see the difference in champs between states and the legion tournament, which was a double elimination bracket you had to play through.

In D11, Emmaus had a mediocre season. But they have a pitcher who will be a high draft pick, and games were spaced out enough that he could carry them to a playoff berth.

But isn't legion ball basically and all-star squad. I know back in the day a few high schools contributed to our local legion team and you're right. It would have crushed most local high schools.

Wow, CB South was down 6-2 and rally for 9 runs in the 6th inning to win 11-6.

An all SOL Continental final. Souderton was 12-0 in league play and CBS 7-5. Obviously can throw those records out at this point.
