I heard Lennox's name is up again for the Springfield job. Looking for info. Is he getting the job or hid he apply for it? It seems like every couple of years his name comes up and he is moving on.

Any Interboro fans have any info on what is going on?

I checked the past threads and there was a lot of info but it seems like its went quiet.

Any new news?

Also heard a few of his assistants may be pursuing other Head Coach jobs that may be opening up but I have not seen anything one here that would suggest that other than Interboro's D'Esposito may be applying for the Springfield job as well.

Any thoughts? In between pc crashes and work I'm almost done with a East review-preview, stetchy sometimes but something to chew on like the West writeups cranked out recently. Like Henderson last year I think we have another powerful team coming from west of the city and also one up in D-11. So, any thoughts on who's hot-who's not? Let her rip!

The Cougars lose Eachus and Matz, but thats about all they lose. They return 11 statrters from both sides of the ball, the QB this year (Drumheller), is outstanding, and they are very strong at the rb and wr positions with kids who saw alot of playing time returning.

I heard from a pretty reliable source that Neshaminy will open up at Souderton this year. Coatesville backed out for some unknown reason. Neshaminy will then play Germantown at home (Hall 0f Fame Night), then at H-H. 'Skins will not be playing NP this year. Souderton comes to Heartbrake next year to open things up. That all I know.

Slaton was hurt early last night and didn't do much of anything in his brief time in the game. After leaving with a hamsting injury and not returning the WVU offense ushered in a multitude of backs and slots that ran all over Oklahoma's very good (at least entering the game) rush defense.

Here's my point/question - if Slaton plans on turning pro early, which seems to be a formality, did last night's game on a big stage show that he may be more a product of a terrific offensive system than a back that would excel in the pro game?

I think BC's Matt Ryan will get picked ahead of Dan Connor but I could be wrong. Who else from PA could be a 1st rounder?

The best players year in and year out come out of the Pittsburgh area. Now I do not think that Penn State should be 80% WPIAL but PSU should get 2 out of the top three players form this area every year with out question. I also agree with the New Jersey recruiting, but i think the new Rutgers success has a little to do with that. And PA has beaten Ohio more than you think in the

The all star game says alot about the so call superior talent out West.Although I love how western Pa discount it because the West get's it handed to them each year.
Imagine if it was the opposite and the WEST was winning,Then the game would count you would never hear the end of it.
There is not more talent out west,If you think about it there is more talent in the East just based on population.
But when the major colleges in the East over the past 50 years are Temple Rutgers maryland,O and now Conn.It is pretty hard for the kids to get the same accolades as PSU,Pitt Ohio State

If my post on the Penn State board have offended any of my Easten PA brothers I am sorry, I was only showing my concern with my favorite college team not recruiting the WPIAL. This year according to rivals and scout the WPIAL has say 10 to 12 4 star recruits or better and Penn State looks like they are only going to get one of them. I want tosee Penn State win more games and getting the best players in the state would help, remember Steve Breaston.
