6A: North Allegheny. Not a great team this year but then again no one in 6A is great either. Lost a close game against central but I think they’ll get their revenge like last year

5A: Peters Township. USC definitely proved they were the best team in the south hills, but all games were close. I think Peters will win in a hypothetical rematch. It’s hard to beat a team twice. Pine-Richland seems to have a injury to the QB which can sink a team

4A: Aliquippa. It hurts to say this because I want a new team like Montour winning, but Aliquippa has a special aura in the playoffs

3A: Central Valley.

2A: South Park

1A: Fort Cherry

6A: If NA wins again, PCC should just pack their bags and go home.
5A: Taking BP (as long as there isn't some injury I don't know about.) Peters would be my second pick. Both have very solid QB's.
4A: TJ
3A: Avonworth - excellent coaching
2A: No idea
1A: Ft Cherry because they have that kid.

Saw NA a couple times including PCC game. PCC is a shell of themselves of just a few year ago, in spite of highly rated kids. First time around two BAD interceptions killed NA. Cannot do that if they want to repeat.

USC has best regular season resume but I just can't pick them. BP tougher kids and Peters better coached. But maybe USC has more talent. I'm sure P-R QB will eventually play, but their OL and DL are down IMO (particularly DL). Skill is so so outside QB running.

6A Central
5A USC
4A TJ
4A Imani Christian
2A Seton lasalle
1A Clairton

I think it's an interesting year without any heavy favorites, I think the team that would surprise me the most if they lost is Clairton, everybody likes Fort Cherry because of Matt Sieg but I think Clairton is much deeper from top to bottom

USC has to be sick right now, lose 7-3 and the only td was a kick return
I watched the game on TV, there seemed to be a lot of kids crying and they showed the crowd and USC fans were leaving early

PT was my preseason pick, but I picked USC when the playoffs began because they really seemed to handle PT a few weeks ago

PR back in it again and I would say they are the favorite considering they beat Bethel Park more convincingly than PT and USC did, guess Kasper wasn't needed

you going to the game tomorrow?
