It's been a nice cute story but it's over.

BECA was an undisciplined team with attitude problems.

No Great accomplishment there.

Saw Beca play twice., Wood, would have been up 50-0 on Beca at half.

They like to space it out so the teams have a week between games. Since the 3A Championship game is on a Friday, my bet it will be changed to Friday night. Hershey maybe??

An early kick off is really short sighted with almost 3 hours of travel for each team.

You almost have to leave at 6am to keep your normal pregame itinerary.

They played 5 double A teams
The only time they saw triple A teams were in the play offs

It's gonna be ugly - That's the truth - If you don't like it - tough!
I'm not gonna candy coat it for you or anyone else.

Maybe we should give them a trophy for just participating?

This may be news to you but everyone on the board knows Wood is the prohibitive favorite. Somehow they avoided slamming the school and players in the midst of one of their finest seasons in school history.


You can write whatever you want FBU82....no problem there, and I can tell you to stow it. Fair enough?

I also think Wood will win. But Somerset is 13-1 and played 5 A schools and 4 AA schools.

But you're not exactly correct. They beat Greater Johnstown during the season...and they're AAA.

In all, Somerset has played 5 AAA schools ALL WITH WINNING RECORDS...beating them all handily.

Clearfield (9-3) 27-0
Selinsgrove (9-4) 42-14
Bethlehem Cath (12-2) 30-0

I'd be careful. Somerset's not exactly the sisters of the poor. Their only loss is to Bishop Guilfoyle who while Class A is currently 14-0 with convincing wins over teams ranging from Class A to Class AAA.

They don't appear to me to be a team that shows up just to participate.
