Before even taking office and seeing a current president with no interest and/or capability to act, Trump, 50+ days before he is scheduled to take office, has worked out a deal with Carrier Air to save close to 1,000 jobs from being moved to Mexico. These jobs will remain in Indiana.

This is the kind of leadership and interest in the American worker that we need.

Fortunately the Obama Malaise ® will soon be over and we can move on to having a person of action in office.

HMM more like 700 jobs for $7,000,000 of tax payer money. So is he going to do this for every company that might leave???? The bell has been rung I wonder if other companies will use this example to get free money

It's not a cut and dry deal. There are a lot of incentives on both sides. The 7 million in tax breaks is one thing but Carrier agreed to investing 16 million in their operations in Indiana. The actual number of jobs being saved is floating around too. Not quite 1000 but enough to be considered a win! Agree though that Obama dropped the ball.
