Ralph Batty once coached Germantown Academy to both a Philadelphia Catholic League and PIAA championship despite not being a member institution of either organization.
Quite a difference between the two sets of rankings and dispersion within each one.......
The actual head to head results are all over the map. Something else to consider....Points For and Points Allowed in the 4 conference contest thus far--would it change the rankings?
HS 3-1 PF 130 PA 65 (lost to SCH 28-23 in first league game)
EA 3-1 PF 140 PA 134 (all 4 games were nail biters, L to GA in OT)
MP 2-2 PF 129 PA 124 (lost to the two above)
GA 2-2 PF 126 PA 164 (beat EA and SCH)
PC 1-3 PF 106 PA 130 (beat SCH)
SCH 1-3 PF 121 PA 135 (beat HS lost 2 heartbreakers to GA & EA)

My math has EA above Haverford per a better outcome against a difficult schedule, a schedule Haverford could not handle, EA beating Northeast 26-13, Haverford crushed 36-0. Hard dodging that one but who knows "where" Born places "what" values. I imagine Born is far more sophisticated than mine, but EA at 80 with HS at 87 is a head scratcher....as I'm sure some of mine are.

Care about all the teams CL because we care about the sport and the growth of it. Delco gets it first champ of the year In EA. By the way on the topic of caring about all the team, two underappreciated teams won friday. Hats off to Cheltenham and PJP for turning their programs around and playing one more week. Heck of a job both of you.
Right on pclfan1. Most of us feel good about the PJP's and Chelty's. My nephew's small town hoops 1A team went to the PA state finals and it was a trip none of us will ever forget. Good luck to the new guys seeing all the hard work pay off against steep odds in some cases.
