How did the high school football season go overall?
“This season was a battle, we started off the season 1-4 and finished 5-5 and made a push for a playoff game. Our team got closer and bonded, that team I’d consider my family.”
What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“We have started off-season workouts and everyone in there is working hard and getting better every day. Personally, I work out 6 days a week. I go to a trainer out in Norwin that plays at Mercyhurst. I will also run track in the Spring.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“With the news of us moving up to 5A I feel as if we are already the underdogs many of people wrote us off last year but I feel we use that as motivation to work harder.”
What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“Well moving to 5A means we got to play teams like Pine Richland which we got a taste of last year but I’d say the reigning champions Peters Township would be the toughest possible opponent.”
Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“We don’t know our schedule exactly yet but Latrobe has Alex Tatsch at linebacker and he’s ranked with 4 stars so he would be a pretty exciting opponent to compete with.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Ever since I was little my biggest dream was to play in college. I train every day and in the back of my mind that always pushes me more because I’m aware of what it takes to make it to that level. But my options are very much open and my eyes aren’t set on any specific school just yet.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“Some PSAC schools such as Shippensburg have reached out. Slippery Rock and Mercyhurst where my fellow teammates Isaiah Gonzalez and Brennan Moore have been offered to play for them.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“As of right now Shippensburg has reached out the most, I’ve been on a game day visit there and met the coaches and saw the campus.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I’ve been to Shippensburg for a visit so far.”
Do you have plans for any trips soon?
“Some schools I plan on visiting are Clarion, Slippery Rock, MercyHurst, Gannon.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“My favorite team growing up was for sure Pitt, my mom went there and so did most of my family so I’ve always watched them play growing up.”
