What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“Been doing interaction with other teams and having practice lifting.”

What do you feel you have improved on most this off-season?
“I improved on better route running and getting bigger, lifting heavier weights.”

How do you feel your team will do this football season?
“I feel like we could be 10-0 again and win section champs again.”

What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“Schuylkill Valley.”

Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“The running back from Schuylkill, I don’t know his name.”

What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“Lately I have been doing more speed workouts.”

What do you feel you have improved on most this off-season?
“I feel like I improved on my speed and strength significantly.”

How do you feel your team will do this football season?
“I believe my team is going to states this year, and winning.”

What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“I think Mount Carmel or Riverside will be the toughest opponent this year.”

Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“I don’t know a specific person but the teams I mentioned have great talent.”

Q&A with Lancaster Catholic wide receiver Josh Acker
What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“I have been lifting a lot through Lancaster Catholic's weight room working on strength and explosiveness, I box jumped 56" and believe I can do 60" I just haven’t attempted it yet. I also have a broad jump of over 10 ft and a vertical jump around 35-38in.”

What do you feel you have improved on most this off-season?
“I feel I have improved most in leadership as well as I am faster, stronger, and more explosive.”

How do you feel your team will do this football season?
“I believe our team will do very well with all the weapons we have (Eli Cunningham, RJ Gonzalez, Terrell Crawley, Brandon Way, Charlie Warren, David Stefanow, and others).”

What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“We will play many tough teams this year but none tougher than Schuylkill Valley.”

Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“I believe the toughest player we will go against is Dominic Giuffre.”

Q&A with Lancaster Catholic running back Elijah Cunningham
What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“I’ve been lifting a lot with and without the team trying to get stronger, more powerful, and explosive. I also have been running to get my stamina better and get myself faster.”

What do you feel you have improved on most this off-season?
“I’m not even close to where I want to be. You can always do better, but I have improved in strength and speed. It was my first year playing RB last year and my vision wasn’t the best but I have definitely improved on my vision and reading blocks.”

How do you feel your team will do this football season?
“Last year our team went undefeated in the regular season, so we have high expectations this year and I think we are definitely going to meet those expectations or even go further in the playoffs.”

What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“It’s kinda hard to tell which teams are going to be tough because of seniors leaving and players coming in. But judging from last season I would say Schuylkill Valley would be our toughest game.”

Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“The toughest player we will face is Schuylkill running back Dominick Giuffre.”

What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“As of late for off-season workouts I have been lifting, speed training, and going to camps.”

What do you feel you have improved on most this off-season?
“This off season I feel I have improved most in my explosiveness out of breaks. I also feel that I improved my physicality from the LOS at the corner.”

How do you feel your team will do this football season?
“I feel my team will do well. We have had the same core for the last 3 years so our chemistry will help us through the postseason.”

What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“Toughest competition on our schedule would have to be ACC because they have lots of athletes and have a fast paced offensive style.”

Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“I feel the toughest player we will see is Jareel Calhoun ‘25 he is an All-state receiver and will be a problem not only on offense but on defense as well as he is a smart DB.”
