I really doubt Speedy Morris will move away from basketball and to football at this stage of his career.
Yea, reasonable chance this gets dicey. However, don't expect area coaches or the district to not put up a fight. Antennas are already raised. It would probably behoove AC & NG to go about their business quietly and within reason.
The Crosby Tax: The "payment" from a team, in terms of player(s), to the team that Mr. Crosby coaches or provides a recruiting service there of. You can try to minimize and delay the "payment", but eventually the tax man (Mr. Crosby) always collects.
Three inevitabilities in life....Taxes, Death and Mr.Crosby will recruit players from other teams.
I wonder how many kids will transfer in to NG from Imhotep and will be on their 3rd High School.
I know of one kid who transferred from a PCL school into to Imhotep after his sophomore year because he was promised playing time from Coach Crosby. When he arrived at IC, Coach Crosby was no longer the HC(for whatever reason).
As of 3 weeks ago this same kid was being recruited to NG out of IC.
*** Keep in mind at this time Coach Crosby was not named HC at NG***
My question is, how does this guy have any credibility at all? He has recruited kids out of private schools that provide a solid education into a school like IC. IC's school day starts at 10am and has a reputation for providing a sub par education.(that is sugar coating it)
Now he is going to go right back after those kids that he pushed IC on and tell them that NG is the place to be??
This is a disgrace and quite frankly, EXACTLY what is wrong with HS sports right now.
Call me a hater but I am hoping for 0 success for Albie with this method of coaching.

Yeah I'm definitely hating,not denying that.
I have to admit some of my hate is generated by the legitimate concern that my alma maters program is going to be targeted by the great talent thief.
