Hot off the press. Manheim Twp at Pennsbury Friday

Keeping up with the ever changing schedules of teams is a daily adventure! Initially it was Harrisburg at Township, then Township at Pennsbury. Also saw in Lancaster Online them playing the game at Lebanon Catholic which dropped football in 2000? Where ever they play (Fairless Hills) it’s good seeing District-1 and District-3 teams playing each other. Here are a few games involving both.

Key games:
Nov 06, Township at Pennsbury
Nov 13, Township at State College
Nov 20, Township home to Downingtown East

Key Players:
Qb Evan Clark
having a great year at 98/141/70%/1505 18-2 ratio, 339 rush yards.
WR D1 recruit Anthony Ivey with 23 receptions for 546 yards.
RB/LB Cade Clancy, well underrated rushing for 531 yards on 82 carries, 233 yards on 19 receptions. He and Qb/SS Clark are big time hitters on D.

Key Games: 5-2
LaSalle
35-28 loss at Twp
Wilson 31-28 loss at Twp
Hempfield 49-7 win at Hemp
Cocalico 41-7 win at Cocalico

Great news! Maybe a silver lining of this season is we get to see some usual matchups. I’ve seen both of these teams play once this year. If everyone is still healthy, I expect MT to win by 2+ TDs. Pennsbury is really struggling.

It is great news with the district seeing an abundance of inter-conference games you never see here in D3. Good stuff! Did Falcons get hit hard with injuries? They had no trouble piling up points early scoring well on everyone except Neshaminy. Also the schedule has been brutal and one sided, putting them on the road 4 straight and 4 of last 5 with only one (now two) home games. Might be fired up in a rare home game. You're probably right but the old instincts in me say don't take the Falcon's lightly at home.

Noticed Falcons were down at least 2 starting DBs and 1 OL last week. Now starting 4 Sophs on OL. QB is talented but always running for his life.
Wow.....that explains the drop off. That and a tough schedule. Soph OLs don't work any better in the SOL than they do in the Mid Penn. Thanks
