Looking ahead to the SOL National in 2016

Nice write-up from Eastern Pa Football. Only 7 teams in the National this year with the realignment: Abington, Bensalem, CRN, CRS, Neshaminy, Pennsbury and Truman. Neshaminy looks to be the solid favorite, if not the prohibited favorite.

So what is D1 and all its leagues going to do with the schedule? Are they starting the week before Labor Day? The National (and Continental) teams will only have 6 league games.

I'm not buying this will be a weak division. I like the realignment as the Rocks will play the. Old rivalries in Nesh and Penn. Football season can't start soon enough! Question - Why isn't Tennett in this division vs Abington? Tennett boarders Neshaminy and Rock if my memory serves me correct. Abington is like 45 min away in Montgomery Co. Why not make this the Lower Bucks Co division?

Here is the realignment for all three conferences. If geography was part of the criteria I would slide Quakertown to the Continental with rivals Souderton and Pennridge. Move Abington to the American with all the Montco schools, and Tennent to the National. Tennent has always been a school that's bounced around more than anyone.
