I'm from the old school and I think we have better coaching then ever.Hats off to you for coaching but the quality of coaching has fallen off.
My 2 areas that I'm most familiar with are WPA and CPA.
In WPA you can't tell me we don't have an abundance of tremendous coaches
Bob Palko (he ain't done yet - lol)
Eric Kasperowicz - Mars
Mark Lyons - CV
Bill Cherpak - TJ
Joe Rossi - South Fayette
John Ruane - Penn Trafford
Gene Matsook - Rochester
TJ Plack - Peters Twp
Art Walker - NA
Wayne Wade - Clairton
Matt Colodi - Lebo
Mike Warfield - Quip
Duke Johncur - Avonworth
Matt Humbert - Belle Vernon
Roger Beitel - Ligonier Valley
Mike Bosnic - Wash High
Kim Niedabala - Union
In central PA you have
Bob Wolfrum - Wyomissing
Dave Hahn - MC
Cal Everett - Harrisburg
Mark Evans - MT
Brian Strohl - Cocalico (I don't think Gingrich is done either)
Glen McNamee - CD
Doug Dahms - Wilson
Jeff Lang - GM
Tony Cox - Solanco
Rick Keely - Berks Catholic
Russ Stoner - York High
Gary Yonchiuk - one of the best you'll find anywhere, severely underrated
Matt Lintal - State College
There are so many other names who are excellent coaches but either haven't built there resumes up yet or are in situations that to put a ton of spotlight on their names.
The game now is as simple as it ever was but many of the elite coaches of yesteryear couldn't coach in today's environment whether it's in PA or not.
