The Patriots won their second title in school history with a 28-14 win over Emmaus, in a rematch of the 2018 championship game. Deonte Crawford rushed for 186 yards and two second half touchdowns, and the Freedom defense forced five turnovers in the win. Crawford also had a 73 yard run just before halftime to set up a touchdown, putting Freedom up 14-7 with a lead they would not relinquish.
Freedom will take on St. Joseph’s Prep next weekend in state quarterfinals. This was Freedom’s fifth championship game in the last six years, matched in the highest classification only by Easton (1999-2004; 2-3 and 2009-2014; 2-3) and Parkland (2012-217; 6-0)
