Now that it is official, will the Neshaminy Administration post on their website that they are looking for a new football coach? This announcement is a huge embarrassment to all involved, the administration knew this was the case 2 weeks ago, so instead of lying to everyone. Just come out and tell the truth. They knew 2 weeks ago what they know now. In fact people in other communities knew months ago!! Sad, just sad.

Why is it sad? Why is it embarrassing? No one knew anything months ago. They just assumed. It's a high school football coach. Stop acting like this in anyway effects yours or anyone else's life. The kids will still workout with the assistants and prepare for the next season.

Very embarrassing turn of events - first, the season was a mess, and now the coach leaves after one season, but waits until mid-January to make it official. Chester Springs is right along side Glenmoore, which is way too far to commute in order to be a successful head football coach at Neshaminy. Work issues or not, the administration dropped the ball on this one and they obviously know it. Who's next?

Based on the AD taking two months to land a coach last year, the Skins should be up and running full speed by April Fool's Day (pun intended). Reluctant has two months to get his boy out in the backyard throwing the ball around so he can compete for the starting job. There will be a new staff so he won't have any crybaby excuses or conspiracy theories this year.

Moscow - there was a team meeting with the boys yesterday. Most of the staff was on hand for the announcement.

So a losing season = mess? Schmidt may have gone 5-5 with that team at best. They compete against NP and PHS at the end of the season showing they didn't give up.

Don't bother jumping back on the bandwagon. They don't need you.

Season a mess =
-If the excuse is losing 19/22 starters then why schedule a team that is nationally rank? failure!
-Watching from the stands, seeing a "coach" not interact with other coaches and players and do nothing but jump up and down and cheer....failure!!!!!
-missing the playoffs... Failure
- losing to Pennridge and north penn (both wins with Schmidt)...fAilure
-the negative talk about the program throughout the community...Failure
-lack of numbers (less than any year Schmidt coached)

Yes, 4-6 at Neshaminy is a mess. Do you think the players or coaches think it went well? We're not discussing Bensalem - expectations are a bit higher in Langhorne. Or Schmidt may have gone 3-7 with that team, but we'll never know.

I believe Schmidt would have had last years team in the playoffs. 6 - 4 would have done it.
