He was what covering HS athletics is supposed to be: fair, honest, always put the kids in a positive light, unlike the hacks at the local Delaware County newspaper. Hope his health is okay. He did a great job. I also see his twitter is no longer active, unless he changed his handle. Shame.

Inquirer dropping people left and right. That’s why Zack Berman , Eagles best writer got out before he got the ax too. He jumped over to The Athletic.

i understand a changing media world. But guys like Rick deserve some thanks and appreciation. When you get cut like they way they do it now you don't get a chance to let them know they did a great job.
