Not a good slate of games, most intriguing is 9-1 Northampton, who won the EPC North hosting their first ever D11 playoff game, with 6-4 Easton bring their four game losing streak to Al Erdosy Stadium. Rovers have more talent and a tougher schedule, but the KKids are playing much better lately and Tyrese Brandon (younger brother of former Becahi running back and Denver Broncos corner Tevrin Brandon) is a game breaker.

Freedom has Emmaus, who they beat 63-28 two weeks ago, but Brandon Camire gives the Hornets a punchers chance.

Parkland should crush Stroudsburg and Nazareth should kill Pocono Mountain West.

Emmaus runs a trick play on the opening kickoff and gets a 70 yard return. Scores two plays later to take an early 6-0 lead on Freedom.

Side note, interesting story this week on Camire, I did not realize he had offseason shoulder surgery and missed a ton of time. Goal was for him to bulk up to handle the every down back responsibilities, but could not lift as he recovered. Still, he has over 1,500 yards and 25 TDs as a 165 pound running back.

Easton up 14-3 at the end of the first quarter on Northampton. Just committed a roughing the punter to give the KKids the ball at the Easton 34 because they have the discipline of Chris Farley on a diet. KKids score three plays later to cut it to 14-10. Northampton not super talented other than Brandon, but offensive scheme is really creative. Must be nice.

Freedom ties things 7-7 with Emmaus.

Nahjee Adams scores his third touchdown of the night to give Easton a 21-10 lead. His 33 yard run setup the TD. He has more yards in the first half than he’s had in a game since week 7.

Easton-Northampton has been crazy. Rovers up 42-37 with four minutes left. Nahjee Adams has six touchdowns, but just left injured. Northampton’s offense keeps punching back, but a bad turnover on a punt is the difference right now

Freedom won 42-21

Easton tries a reverse and fumbles. Northampton will takeover at the Easton 19 with 2 minutes left.

How dumb are we?

KKids out to midfield with a minute left facing 4th and 6.Picked up and out of bounds at the Easton 38

A huge sack by Tamir Jackson looks like it’s going to save the day for Easton. KKids have to clock it with 30 seconds left

Fourth down sack by RJ Gisler ends it. Easton holds on 42-37
