Some interesting matchups. I do think Neshaminy got a good draw for round 1 after the disappointment of not getting the home game. Souderton / PW should be a great game. If Souderton can continue to both run the ball and throw it around, they're a very tough out.

CB West gets their 7th playoff rematch game since 2021. They're healthier than when they played Pennsbury the first time, so that bodes well for West. They looked very good offensively last week against East, who attempted to just take the air out of the ball from the very start of the game. East did some odd things defensively and got their only stop of the game when West stopped themselves by committing three straight penalties, including a 15 yarder. West took a knee on the East 1 yard line to end the game when the JV squad appeared to score on a 42 yard run against the East varsity, but the back was ruled out at the one. I didn't see the full stats but I'm sure West ran for over 350. West will avoid South unless both teams make it to the final. They've got a lot of their momentum back heading into the playoffs and are the healthiest they've been in a long time. They still have three backups playing on the offensive line, and I'm not sure that's changing, but they haven't missed a beat, with some big rushing numbers as of late. Clemens continues to look stronger every week, and QB Noah Miller continues to break long runs to balance out Clemens. Having Morelli and McGowan back in the lineup has given them their outside speed back and lets them stretch the field again. (McGowan had almost 100 yards on 5 touches with 2 TDs last week.)

With three of the four top seeds coming from the SOL, it's interesting to note that the three games between them were all one score games. If you want a reason to be optimistic as a CB South fan, you just ran the table in a year the second and third place in the SOL National made the top 4 also. If you want to be pessimistic, their margin for error seems to be much smaller this year, with a miracle win over West, a 12-7 win over Pennsbury and only scoring 14 against North Penn. The QB Pinkerton is carrying the O and so as he goes, so goes South.

Having Coatesville and Dtown East lurking as low seeds is keeping some coaches up at night...
