At a time when the media is preoccupied with obama's legacy (what?) and Trump's tweets, and with the Dow Jones Industrial Average nearing the 20,000 point level, probably the most meaningful news is that the total federal debt level is approaching the $20 trillion.

According to the Treasury Dept. website, the total federal debt as of January 4, 2017 is $19,952,414,234,340.71.

This insanity can't go on forever. So while many think obama is going to be known for the failed obamacare legislation, he is probably also going to be tied to the enormous climb in the debt level, giving him a double-negative legacy. Poor guy, you've got to feel bad for him. He must be wishing he had just a little more time to be able to get at least something done. Wait, there is Cuba, right? And he didn't cut Reluctant to Think's pay, like Bush did!
