AAAA: Central Catholic "from wire to wire" but you have to admire the way Parkland closed. With a soph QB and the entire line back, etc, etc....phew!....I think we'll be seeing them again soon. But....Pine Richland, Central Dauphin and Wilson will challenge again to name a few.
AAA: Imhotep similar to Pitt CC with high expectations but thought Wood would make another appearance with Russo. If they do move to AAAA they'll have good company with Allen CC, Beca, McD, So. Fayette, TJ, Selinsgrove, Cathedral etc who have all fielded monster teams in the near past. 4A is stacked with programs and no walk in the park for Imhotep here on out.
AA: Southern ripping Aliquippa is what they've been doing for years with hard nosed power teams playing fundamental football where many have said over the year "yeah, but wait til they see the speed teams." Evidently speed can be overrated like Cathedral's "tough" schedule was. Thought Martinsburg Central would be a finalist over Quips.
A: Bishop Guilfoyle played a strong schedule that included the Johnstown schools, Westmont Hilltop and Jtown High plus Somerset. I know, sounds like a bad joke but D5 and 6 have some real good small school football teams and Guilfoyle brings back the heart of team next year. 32-0!
