Coaching Changes

by "program builder" you mean recruiting right?

I bet he's the Mt. Lebanon coach after next season

Here's the thing about recruiting coming from somebody who has coached at 6 different HS's. Most "recruiting" is non-existent. 9/10x it's kids and parents who are moving their kids into a district whether it's for athletic intent or not.

Sure, some coaches actually recruit. Hell, the word on the street is Anthony Smith from Southmoreland will be at Seton LaSalle next season. Is there any coincidence with Storino having "QB School" at Seton every weekend that's open to anyone.

Unless Lebo's AD resigns or gets fired, I doubt Humbert is at Lebo next season. He's not going back into the classroom imho.

Tyler Ward just resigned from Bethlehem Catholic after taking a head coaching job at a school out of state. Ward came to Becahi from a high school in Alabama, but he’s a Lehigh alum, so there was an element of coming home. Still, Bethlehem Catholic is now looking for their fifth head coach in the last eight years.
Joe Bernard announced as new HC at Bethlehem Catholic.

speaking of Belle Vernon, they just won their first wpial title in basketball since 1978

their best player is Zion Moore who led the wpial in scoring last year and was 3rd this season

he transferred from my Ringgold Rams!!!!

Looks like it was on the agenda for tonight's neshaminy school board meeting that Neshaminy will hire Nick Felus as the head coach for the football team.

Former QB Coach at Coatesville. He was HC at Altoona before they ran him out of town. Rebounded at Penn-Cambria garnered many Coach of the Year honors last season

Good to see them go outside and get an experienced head coach. Always nice to have some new blood in the league.
He walks into a good situation. Strong returning nucleus off a 6-4 season: facilities, enormous school, roster size and tradition. This is not a turnaround; it's more a question of can they break back through to the top of the conference, and like all of District 1, can they keep enough players away from the privates?

This could work out well. He seems to have been around and had success. There are also some local ties -- it would appear (via marriage) -- and reports are he will have a job in the school district (it seems he was teaching at Penn-Cambria). So if all of that is accurate it's a good thing.

Anyone with a pulse on D12 stuff? I know wood is filling out their staff. I saw Bonner lost their AHC to retirement, and did Imhotep hire an offensive coordinator yet? Would imagine they got a big applicant pool with the talent they have
