Listening to KYW two, three, four times a day I heard Philly Mayor Jim Kenney say he was surprised that the US seems to be at a point where Donald Trump is acceptable. Not backing Trump, I have to say the fault lies with present politicians. Do they think we'll just go along with every childish game they play? The public is tired and angry with politicians period. And that is the real reason you have two polar opposites in the race....Trump and Sanders. The people are just trying to find something new that might work. It is Obama's fault, John Boehner's fault, Hillary's fault, it is the fault of every person in office now!! Examples? The republicans want the new president to pick the Supreme Court Justice. And the Dems are saying "See, they don't play nice!" Well look up Biden from '92 and Schumer from '07. Same childish game. And we suffer!! I hope Trump does make it just to shove a little shock value into the equation!! Hillary is out there PANDERING for every vote from every faction she can visit promising the moon. Cruz is pulling Nixon tricks. Same old same old!! And the reason the US seems to be at a point where Trump is acceptable? Anger!!

Paul, good post. When you have an overmatched, 98 lb. weakling in obama, the opposite side is going the be angered by his childish antics. On the liberal/socialist/communist side, the pure incapability of obama is going to cause anger by the people who voted for him because they got way less than they expected. Thus the rise of an out-of-the-closet socialist in Sanders, as opposed to a closet socialist in obama.
Even Tim Cook, a liberal who voted twice for obummer, said he is furious that so-called president didn't talk to him before this whole encrypted cellphone issue was exposed. I've never seen a gay guy so mad, but you could tell that Cook was disappointed in President Incapable! Thus the LPOF (liberal pissed-off factor) reached a new high today and probably will continue higher right into the election. I wish there was a way to trade futures on this very predictable index.
Once Bernard C. (for Communist) Sanders, who honeymooned in Russia, drops out of the race, the LPOF will go off the charts. This is when you have to really watch out for liberals; they will do just about anything to get their anger out, except post on this board! Embarrassment outweights anger, in this case, I guess.

Come November the citizens of this nation will let us all know how they feel about the Obama years.There is no way they elect Hillary as President if they despise the last 8 years. The voters will also let us know how they feel about the GOP, their candidates and their ideas. Talk about a predictable index !!! Get ready for President Hillary Rodham Clnton.
It could happen, but the country won't be any better off. Although, I would concede that Hillary might be a marginally better president than obama, but that is not saying much. Either way you and your fellow libs will take the LPOF to a probable record high and the reason is that liberalism/communism just doesn't work.
Conservatives will find a way to improve their lives while libs will be wondering why the government didn't knock on their door and offer frequent handouts.
This is all based on Hillary being allowed to run and that is far from certain at this point. And she might not be as popular as you think.

Also, the GOP really did a good job of increased inclusion (which was the diagnosis after 2012). By their actions and candidates I feel the citizens of the US will decide that the Republican Party is dumb and does not learn from their mistakes. During GWs 2 terms I believe the GOP had total control of Washington for close to 7 yrs. including the Supreme Court. They de-regulated, fought gay rights, weakened unions, jerry-mandered----- essentially had their way implementing the far right agenda and by 2008 the voting public saw the results. Shovel ready jobs? Not really. The infrastructure still sucks. Obamacare? From the roll out to the present, a bust. There are some good things in it but for the most part, more money. The foreign policies? I don't have enough time to get into his screw ups there. Jobs? Whose numbers are we using? Enough said. The one thing I think is funny is that everyone said the Repubs won't play nice with the guy. Did you ever think that maybe, just maybe, the Repubs saved the country from going over the cliff?? I mean you talk about Trump (I am not a Trump fan) and how he doesn't know how to run a country having no political background. Obama was a Senator for two friggin years before he was elected. The affordable health care act is a success and is doing well. Infrastructure stinks because the Reps do not want to pay for it. Your understanding of cause and effect is seriously flawed. Bush was not a good president; that goes almost without saying. But it ancient history now and obama is the topic of discussion. But since you mention W, it was the Clinton Housing Bubble that blew up 8-9 years after the idea of putting everyone into home ownership was hatched by slick willy. These things take time to unwind. Often, the liberal with the great idea is long gone by the time the effects are felt. Same is now true with slick willy's nuclear deal with Korea. Same will be true with President Incapable's nuclear "deal" with Iran. It might be 2020-2025 by the time the effects are felt. I can see you are a short-term thinker.
Sammy, I wouldn't call it a success. I will say it is being applied. That's it. How much money was wasted on the roll out? I've heard numbers ranging from 30 to 55 billion. Where are all the young people who were supposed to sign up. How are your premiums? Lower? The same?? Or are they higher? Deductible? Lower, the same or higher? There are some goods things about Obamacare. Previous conditions being covered, children covered until mid twenties. Oh I forgot, there are how many more people covered by insurance? Who's paying for them? Not the young who were supposed to be signing up!! One thing that would help greatly is if they took the borders down. Let a company in Philly go see how California insurance company rates are.
It's a mixed bag I guess but what causes wild swings? My unemployed friend's jumped from 4+ to over $800. I guess that can be interpreted as good news since she found something equivalent for almost 300 less!? But, what does that say about the ACA?

Meanwhile, the 6 PM show on Fox News, hosted by Bret Baier, is one of the most highly acclaimed shows in all of TV news. But, I don't expect you to know this; I expect you to believe what the ruling class wants you to believe, that Fox is crazy, not because they are, but because they have taken tremendous market share from the liberal networks and this is their only reaction.

I blame the media for the reason Kasich doesn't get any traction. All they want is for Trump and Cruz to go at each other for ratings and that leaves Kasich in the back!!

No, the issue wasn't with the number. The issue was that there supposedly was no video at all of the celebrations available. Think for yourself, it's not important whether the number is 250, 500, or over 1,000; it's that people in this country would celebrate 9/11.
