Rover, is there a story behind the Parker brothers leaving Lehigh or is it injury related? I'll assume you would know if there was something more to it.

I know Scotty announced he was done competing due to injury, and I think he already has his undergrad diploma. It was my understanding Matt also had injury problems, including complications recovering from a surgery.

The Pat rumors were very true in the last year or two. He VERY seriously considered the Pitt job when it was open to be done with the headache, but decided to return at Lehigh. They would be crazy to get rid of him, he’s an incredible coach and technician, and I think people underestimate the challenges at Lehigh. And Lehigh fans think they should be Penn state, which is part of why Pat was on the ropes.

Interestingly, Pat is the only Santoro who didn’t wrestle at Lehigh, But there’s obuoisly family loyalty.
