Gay marriage has been made legal in all 50 states by the Supreme Count and...

liberals will still be unhappy. Can't wait to watch this unfold. Most liberals are unhappy, unsettled, mal-adjusted, etc., by nature and just aren't going to be able to use this to bring happiness to their world, at least for the long term. Expect big celebrations this weekend, but then it's back to reality. Clarification: not necessarily talking about gay people/couples, more so the activists who will continue to push and use this politically. Look at obama, who was against gay marriage, or so he said, but now is for it. Same for Hillary.

Let's see how this plays out with regard to liberals trying to make the Catholic Church perform gay marriages. With the Pope Francis in power, getting this to happen might not be as difficult as some think.

The most pissed off group among all of the democratic-voting block must be the muslims. This is going to be especially hard on them, but they don't have to worry about the liberals forcing them to perform gay marriages in mosques, as the initial target will be the Catholic Church. Afterall, Ahmadinejad said that "in Iran, we do not have this phenomenon (gay people)."

For the low-information crowd, over 30 people were killed today in three separate muslim terrorist attacks (some on other muslims), but no mention of this from obama. And one of the attacks involved ISIS crashing through the gate of an Air Products (headquartered in Allentown, PA) facility in France and beheading one person. This is the same ISIS that obama called the JV team.

Everyone ok?

We had a terrific wind system blow thru at 6; tornados-straight line winds here in Delaware County-Ridley Twp (behind Ridley High) and out at least to Middletown-Media area around Linvilla Orchards off of Rt-352 along Edgemont Ave. Many trees down, 200,000 without power per PECO. Friend living behind orchard says 40% of trees are down in his development, so many they can't get out. Super fast moving system, blew thru in 10 minutes. Hope everyone is ok.

pine-richland athlete

Does anyone have information on Pine-Richland DB/receiver Anthony Battaglia ?? I recently saw his HUDL highlights as well as watching him against Saint Joe Prep in the state final and I was really impressed with his performances. I understand he has grown to over 6 feet and is weighing about 195. He has run the 40 in 4,55. I think this kid is currently under the radar and if so ,needs some attention by D-1 schools.

DAndre Swift

After seeing the highlights presented by Pa. preps I watched the tape of the state championship game this past year and have concluded Swift could become one of the greatest running backs to come from Philadelphia . I know there have been many great ones , but considering this guy is only going into his junior year and has 20 D-1 offers already you have to wonder how great he will become.

Tackle Football in the Virgin Islands

Charlotte Amalie High School (Virgin Islands) is looking for a high school team that would be interested in traveling to the Virgin Islands and play in tackle football game on Friday November 20th, 2015. We cordially invite a team that would be interested in taking part in the inaugural Arthur Jamison Turkey Bowl event. Send an email to Mr. Corbett at myroncorbett_12@outlook.com for further information. PASSPORT IS NOT NECESSARY TO TRAVEL TO THE US VIRGIN ISLANDS.

MLB Draft - PA Football

As I predicted in the fall, All State running back Jake McCarthy of Scranton was selected in the 23rd round of the MLB Draft by the Pittsburgh Pirates. He will almost definitely go to Virginia with the hopes of being taken higher in 3 years, but a nice accomplishment for a great athlete.

McCarthy's older brother Joe, also a former Scranton running back (who was on the very good teams with Karlon Quiller) was taken in the 5th round by the Rays.

Other PA football guys taken were former Trinity all WPIAL defensive back Joe Havrilak by the Tigers in round 18 and former Easton quarterback and Nazareth graduate Justin Pacchioli in the 10th round by the Padres.

The highest taken Pennsylvania player was Stroudsburg's Mike Nikorak, who went 27th overall to the Rockies. Nikorak was Stroudsburg's quarterback, but did not play football this past fall due to the massive payday he was in line for in the draft (the slot amount for his pick is over $2 million - probably the right call).

Year 1 in Infante's tenure

The D'Andre Swift post has me thinking about what Infante had to endure at the start of his first year at the Prep. If memory serves me right, they had a team in place that could have played with anyone in the state but lost several players to transfer after Brooks was let go including his entire starting backfield. I am trying to remember who all left and what coach was left to work with. I know that Peoples was one of those players.

I'm sure this post was out a number of times when he first took over.

Parkland's Devonte Cross to Take Two Visits to FBS Schools This Weekend

I recently had a chance to talk with Parkland's senior QB Devonte Cross about his current recruitment status.

*Cross currently holds a ton of FCS offers from Albany, Monmouth, Rhode Island, Robert Morris, Villanova, and Delaware.

*Holds one FBS offer from Army.

*Headed to Northwestern on Friday.

*Headed to Virginia Tech on Sunday.

*Consensus among coaches that he hears from is that he has good running ability, good footwork, and a quick release.

I'll give an update on how his trip goes this weekend sometime early next week.
