About Garnet Valley’s O-Line starting 5. LT-74, Nick Mahoney, sr, 6-1, 270; LG-52, Nolan Brennan, sr, 6-3, 245; C-64, Sam Di Trolio, 5-10, 215, sr; RG-72, Ben Nash 6-3, 260, sr; RT-62, Austin Sorokanych 6-3, 225, sr. One of first off bench is Matt Wiesendanger #77-78, jr, 6-1, 225. Despite their depth they play these guys hard, most of the game, not the 2-platoon system they were previously known for and far more passing this year. Solid Qb! Still have huge roster. DL is often 62, 52 and 50-Luke English, 6-2, 240, sr.
Traditionally people drop down Safeties/LBs, 9 in the box to stop them, but can burn you now with the pass and still with quick backs t o get the corner. They like to run but are much more than that. Outstanding kicker in Zach Liberatore who reaches end zone often.
Last year’s team was 6-0, avg score of 49-9, their best ever but it was covid. This year’s is at 48ppg allowing 7 making this their highest scoring offense ever and lowest point total ever defensively at 7ppg.

** O-Line/D-Line info from watching 3 game videos, roster info (name, hgt/wgt, class.) from their website.

Stalker... I've seen CBW a few times. I would say that they are obviously not as big as GV but are very well coached. Theyve faced big teams throughout the year including NP and PR got a second shot at them and were outcoached again. They'll put points on the board. The longer they can hang close in the game the more dangerous they become. So if GV doesn't bury them in the first half, look out this is one scrappy bunch. If GV has a weakness CBW coaches will find it. This has a "chance" to be one for the books.

Ridley moved the ball well through the air with chunk yardage. Im sure CB West coaches saw that and have something in the works with Cooper. WRs can get open against GV ,but will CBW line give Cooper time to throw. I too am optimistic to a point , but IMO GV is just as well coached , very disciplined and just keep coming. Hopefully the Refs stay neutral . Go Bucks !!!!

Cb West had a great year. Only loses to Coatesville in Week 0 and North Penn and 9 wins. Unfortunately, the season will end tomorrow evening. I don't see the Bucks scoring more than 14. Garnet Valley will go over 40. GV has seen this type of Wing T in Strath Haven and shuts it down. CB West has never experienced an offense like GVs. Very difficult to stop if you do not have experience playing against it.

Agree with what was said above, if you're a Bucks fan, you hang your hat on some or all of the following:

1. Bucks can possess the ball and keep the GV offense off the field for 5-6 minutes or longer at a time. (Although the GV defense is very good also)
2. The interior of the West d-line is the quickest that GV will face this year. They will have obviously have adjustments to whatever West does, but their o-line will be adjusting to those two guys, who've given teams fits all year.
3. West players will not be intimidated by the atmosphere, the moment, etc... it's a really good group of kids who know how to handle themselves
4. If GV tries to pack the box, especially by rolling down safeties, West now has a passing game to punish them. Can the GV corners run with McFadden or will they have to give them help? West also has hit some big play action throws after lulling the safeties to sleep... all the HBs, the TE and the WR can sneak downfield.
5. West is used to being the smaller team, but they won't every stop fighting - they will come out and go right at GV as if they had the bigger line
6. West staff will have the kids ready to go... (but so will the GV staff)

I've watched parts of 5 GV games on their YouTube channel. They're very very good. But there have also been multiple teams that just weren't sound defensively against their offense. I think the West staff won't repeat some of those mistakes and that hopefully at least slows GV down so that they have to put together drives and not get big chunks. Regardless, West will have to play their best game of the year to pull off the shocker.

Not going to disagree in principle, it's a big ask of West this week. I will say that I watched a lot of the Strath Haven game and in my opinion West has better backs and comes at you harder off the ball. They also do more formationally, can spread you out and attack you if you stack the box. Defensively, I have no idea what West is going to come out in or what they're going to try to take away.

I think everyone is Doylestown knows just how big of a hill this is to climb, but I expect the Bucks to come out and give them a fight.
