markets to big for a demise. same with boxing everyone always wants to see a battle.

As far as the lack of interest / participation, It will eventually be a thing of the past, in 25 years high school football may be scarce. We may see districts combining teams as there will not be enough players or mainly private schools having teams. Some colleges will drop it but most bigs will keep jt. The NFL could lose the last few expansion teams but it will live past 25 years. If the NFL self destructs to to greed / financial woes that's another story.

I think the high school game will change and only the large enrollment schools may only field single teams and smaller schools may drop or combine programs w other schools. This is not just because of injuries but also due to kids focusing in on one sport.
