Team USA lost a world cup qualifier to Costa Rica 4-0. For 40 years or more soccer people have talked up the sport and yet they can't beat a small country. It will never be a prime sport, why? because it never gets the quality athletes who still gravitate to football, basketball,. baseball, track.

I'd rather discuss politics on this board before soccer. Seriously, that ACTIVITY is good for two things in America. One, helping kids at a young age develop running skills, endurance and hand eye coordination. Two, providing us with kids that can kick and punt. Nothing more, nothing less.
