Upper Darby Coaching Job

Has to be a record for earliest a job has been posted in high school sports. Not sure how Gentile and the staff feel about the job being posted so early but has anyone heard who has applied or will apply. UD seems to have a "big name" in mind. I have heard that some youth coaches, local 7 on 7 coaches, and some local coordinators, who apply for every job posting, have applied. Anyone else have info or thoughts on the subject?

With the central admin and AD they have I am unsure why anyone would want to apply for it. Zero support and will always point the finger when things go wrong.

We know there is always a guy that will take the job regardless, and many poor decisions / back stabbing has taken place in regards to delco HFC firings, - nation wide as well - but this has to be at the top of most awkward. So many other ways this could have been handled

Is it any more awkward than whatTemple did with Dunphy? They are giving the guy one more year-sort of a swan song-and then will have a replacement ready to step in as soon as the 2019 season is over.
