From the beginning of the season I said Springfield was going to win districts. I'm eating my words.

Springfield made more mistakes in this single game then they have all season long. Congrats to unionville. I believe Springfield graduates everyone except their qb and one wideout/DB.

Qb and both inside LBS back. They have a lot to replace but that ain’t bad place to start. Qb had rough start tonight but really hung in there. Unionville outplayed them but Springfield was resilient and almost willed themselves to W. The better team won tonight. Unionville made some big plays. 1 was best player on field and 3 for them is very good. They also won the trenches which hasn’t happened much against Springfield.

I congratulate Springfield on great year. A lot of winners on that team. Coaching staff should be commended as well. This team played very well together for two years and they aren’t crazy talented. Just well coached with a lot of good hs football players. Not a D1 kid on roster but a pleasure to watch. Central League was good league this year and they won it. Congrats to those seniors on helluva run.
