Thoughts on all suburban one continental team?

Any discussion here like I've seen on Catholic league selections. Hits, misses.

Kinda surprised that there are only 2 Suburban One teams left. Thought there would be 3 or 4 still standing. So 2 Suburban, 2 Chesmont, 2 Pac and 2 Central. Couldn't be more balanced. May the best league win. Upper hand goes to Suburban still but PAC appeared to be pretty impressive last night while DEast and Neshaminy got more than they expected apparently.

Cover by chance did you mean any thought on the all sol selections? Couple things come to mind..? The first is.. Having an all conf team for both divisions vs one for both.. And Do you really need to have a 3rd team ? I'm the first admit I'm old..but I remember it was a really big deal to make all Buxmont in the 70s..(wondering if it's the same on the left side of the state-bruh are you out there) ..It's getting to the point where everyone will make the an all league team.. Just give them all league participation trophies .. Also a few kids that where first team last year are now third.. I understand that new players will crack into the ranks every year but if you go from one to three you really shouldn't be on an all league team..

The All-SOL team is the biggest joke going. All 3 conferences have a first, second and third team PLUS honorable mention. Take a look at the National from last year, a 100 kids made it from an 8 team league. Embarrassing!

Well guys, you know we're living in an era where everyone gets a trophy so maybe we need a 4th team and Rising 5th graders; "holy crap, did you see his younger brother?" So I'm seconding green_beans; an award used to mean something.

Initial reaction is N.P. dominated league, only one first team offensive line kid. Would expect differently. Johns not first team all league...odd. Typically the best player in the league would be first team both ways...in my opinion deserved. Overall considering NP dominated the league they have zero respect for the grunts. In the past you could expect NP to have two first team OL and a couple first team DL guys. That served them well in the past. What did they do..play 7v7 all year up there?...kidding of course.

If you look at the bottom of the link that Relayer posted with the all SOL team.. it looks like a kids dad is complaining about his son not being selected calls out his name, grade and position... sorry I would copy the post but I'm guessing the kid is already embarrassed enough..so I guess everyone didn't get a trophy ... I stand correct from my earlier post..
