Why is this such an issue and what's wrong with playing on dirt, mud, whatever. The field gets tore up, BIG deal, don't re-sod.

Pretty sure that the "gate" goes to District 1.. After all it is their tournament. You would lose concessions and get reimbursed for expenses from District 1...

Back in 2003 NP played all three D1 playoff home games at Wissahickon. They also played a classic regular season game at Wissy the following season against Neshaminy, winning 31-30 in OT. I have no idea why turf hasn't been installed in all the years since.

A lot of $ but suppose they get it back with other events held on the plastic through out year so I get it but sure liked playing on grass and in the mud.
