Enough about recruiting CYO games and let's get to the real games-what are everyone's thoughts?

6A-CVIlle @ Garnet Valley-A contrast of styles
5A-Unionville @ Springfield-Lots of ice bags needed Saturday-should be a 12-round fight
6A-Prep/Parkland-Is this the year the Trojans can clip the Hawks' wings?

Parkland SJP could be a really good football game. If I'm Parkland, I'm worried about lack of size on the offensive line. Kobe Thomas at left tackle is an FCS recruit (Albany) and a big dude (6'3 275) but the rest of the line is smaller than the past couple years. They'll go a lot of power with a fullback and a big tight end to get a numbers advantage in the box. And Worth is an ox in the backfield.

The flip side is I think the defense can give SJP some problems. They get GREAT linebacker play - Worth and Malozzi are both all state caliber kids, and even with Wieder suspended, they have depth. Huff at end isn't quite as good as Hohman, but he's bigger and might have the physical tools to disrupt the SJP offense. Jeremy Sell at tackle is also an excellent player.

I think SJP wins, but it'll be a low scoring slugfest.
