It's Thursday. Gonna be rooting for TEP, WC and UD this weekend. Being an old schooler, it's like being a Big Five fan....once your school is out you get behind the other ones (even Nova). UD is compelling. Even the people at UD will tell you this is their shot. Maybe in 5A it will be different, but they know this gang is special. You can talk about recruiting as much as you want, but TEP has been at the door and hasn't been able to bust through, hope they do. And WC just keeps chugging on. They have been winning big. I think lost is that had a 1 pt. squeaker to win their PCL title. LC played them closest so far.

Hope I can tune in PCN next week and watch all 3.

Agreed! But I think you over thought the idea with the Nova comment!!

I'll take a different slant on the IC-SV game. I'll be rooting for Saucon Valley. They are just over the county line, and much closer to Bucks than Imhotep is. Always liked the community up there, been to many games and events at Stabler and Goodman. Driven through Hellertown a thousand times. In many cases it's easy to pull for a decided underdog in a David vs Goliath type match-up. I also have a co-worker who is a SV grad and a huge fan. Lastly, I have a hard time rooting for Schmidt after seeing his antics on the sideline vs Wood.

Imhotep = TU - tough city kids
West Catholic = LaSalle - Smallest of the catholic universities and the ones you could actually like
Upper Dublin = Nova - Rich kids from the burbs

Pulling for the three of them. D12 first but SEPA if none are in the fight

Like UD, not a big enrollment school but they play well as a team, good team speed & quickness. Nice to see a different look in Hershey from District one.
Saucon valley certainly doesn't have the athletes but from what i have read they like to talk and don't take any BS. Will be an interesting match up with the saucon stands filled and the away side with plenty of seats at the 50. Does Imhotep have a band?

Just bustin chops with the Nova comment....easy target. Like I know Shoe is bustin chops on Tep. SV will be very interesting. As a D1/D12 guy I tend to think that the folks up in the valley live in a bit of a bubble...like they are surprised when great football players come out of a more city environment. But this year you got Parkland and SV delivering. I really want to see if SV can hold the line vs what Tep has.
