Questions
Why throw the ball from your own 2 yard line against the wind ?
Why does the Qb have to come over to coach to get a play after 14 games ? caused 3 delay of game penalties and many plays rushed to beat the play clock
Up 8 why are you throwing the ball against the wind?
Only down 7 with 3 minutes left with 3 timeouts Plenty of time to run your offense Schmidt had no plan
looked like his plan was to have the Qb drop back and make something happen
swing pass screen pass was there all night with all the blitzing from prep

last time Schmidt was a head coach at Hershey He had no plan also His team was down 49-0 at halftime to PCC
Coach Crosby wins this game by 3 TD

How are you so certain that Coach Crosby wins the game by 3td's? Don't forget that he won that state championship last year with arguably the best team ever to come out of the city with arguably the best offensive coordinator in the area calling the plays. He wouldn't have had Gordan this year if he remained the HC as he went back to LaSalle.
Crosby lost to a WING T Wyomissing team in 2012 with a MUCH more talented team.
Crosby was run off the field by South Fayette the following year 41-0! What makes you think that his offensive prowess would have resulted in a 3 TD victory?

Sorry, I had the same gut reaction as MC watching the game. Was ticked off at having qb constantly at sideline, hated the run and chuck plays. Thought the edges were vulnerable on sweeps and swings passes. Felt they had 3 timeouts and plenty of time to run their sets. ECP loaded the box, and they ran right into it. ECP over pursued once on that 4th and short, seemed to influence the calls by TEP down the stretch.

I agree with all of that 100%. But the Crosby by 3td's comment was a little ridiculous to me given his shortcomings..

Game day shortcomings by Albie, until he pulled Schmidt and Gordon in mix were obvious to me. I feel the same way about another coach in the vicinity with a big time program. Not impressed with his game day coaching either. Damn, that was a missed opportunity for IC.

Tough loss for the Panthers (I was pulling for them and I think people on here know that I am a Coach Schmidt fan too and for the obvious reason).

Then not that my two-cents means anything, but once in a while Coach and I will share a distant communication (ha - I'm sure he loves my "go get 'em, Coach" meanderings). And we did this last week when he acknowledged that the Ramblers were much improved over 2015 and that it was gonna take a great effort - period (in so many words).

Take that for what it is worth.

I might also say that he loves the game and he taken to Imhotep (and I don't know if he thought one year as an assistant in 2015 was gonna lead to the head man job but it did and his reasons for taking it are the right ones).

And if you think he likes losing or deals with it losing well -- no way brother.

PS Somebody mentioned 2004 and the state championship when the 'Skins walked into a haymaker out in Hershey with that PCC club - I don't think anything would have made a difference that night (those are the games that leave a brand on your soul).
