Springfield delco@ Ridley

Ridley is obviously playing a different stley of football then they have ever played before. They are actually much bigger across both lines than Springlield and if the rain holds up they will have a big advantage with their running game.

Springfield has not really played anyone yet, but they have a very resourceful team in getting to 5-0. They have been using 2 QB's-one a running QB, the other more of a passer-and are going with the hot hand during the game. Their skill positions are comparable to Ridley but as noted above-their line play is not. I think you can throw on Ridleys D-so lets see hopw the weather is.

They are both solid and well coached on D, with Springfield having a knack for creating turnovers. IO think they will have to create a few or have Ridley put the ball on the carpet in order to hang with Ridley for 4 quarters.

Ridley had too many penalties, at least 3 personal fouls and many holding penalties. Their line also didn't control the line of scrimmage. Hopefully they'll use this as a learning experience.

Nice win for Sprinfield. They really shut down Ridkeys offense. Both of Ridleys TDs were on fluke plays and they completely dominated the second half.
It will be interesting to see how the Central League plays out. The two remaining undefeated teams - Sprinfield and Marple - do not play each other. Sprinfield still has Haverford and GVslley left while Matple still has ridley and Haverford. You may see multiple one loss teams by the end of the year.

Speed:
I've seen Marple play this yr. I can't see them going undefeated unless a miracle happens. Haven lost to Haverford in a close game. I think Marple losses to you guys and maybe Haverford. That's going to be a good game. If Springfield brings their A game, they could be sitting at the top of 5A.

That wouldn't surprise me. This could be a good yr for Springfield in 5A, though Upper Dublin is good.
